Job Description
The Digital Marketing Specialist – Content, Social Media & E-commerce will support the Digital Marketing team in executing comprehensive marketing strategies across multiple channels. This hybrid role focuses on content creation, managing social media platforms, email marketing campaigns, and optimizing e-commerce activities using Shopify and HubSpot to enhance brand visibility, customer engagement, and sales.
Key Responsibilities:
Content Development:
- Assist in creating, editing, and publishing engaging content for digital platforms, including Shopify and marketing materials through HubSpot.
- Collaborate with design and creative teams to develop visuals, videos, and infographics that complement written content.
- Develop and edit video content to support marketing campaigns, product promotions, and social media initiatives.
- Conduct keyword research and implement SEO best practices to enhance content visibility.
Campaign Support:
- Provide support for digital marketing campaigns, including paid advertising, promotions, and seasonal campaigns.
- Assist with market research, competitor analysis, and identifying trends to refine marketing strategies.
- Contribute to monthly and quarterly marketing performance reports.
Social Media Management:
- Manage social media accounts (e.g., Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, TikTok), including scheduling posts, monitoring engagement, and responding to comments.
- Develop social media content calendars and ensure consistency in branding and messaging.
- Track and analyze social media metrics, providing regular reports on performance and insights.
Email Marketing:
- Assist in planning, creating, and sending email campaigns, newsletters, and automated workflows through HubSpot.
- Segment email lists and personalize email content to target various audience groups effectively.
- Track email performance (open rates, click-through rates, conversions) and optimize future campaigns.
E-commerce Management:
- Manage Shopify e-commerce platform, including product uploads, inventory updates, and optimizing product pages for SEO.
- Collaborate with the marketing and design teams to develop campaigns that drive traffic and conversions for the online store.
- Monitor e-commerce analytics on Shopify and make data-driven recommendations to improve site performance and user experience.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in digital marketing, content creation, social media management, or e-commerce.
- Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills, with an eye for detail and creativity.
- Proficiency with social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer), email marketing platforms like HubSpot, and e-commerce platforms like Shopify.
- Basic knowledge of SEO, Google Analytics, and online advertising platforms (e.g., Facebook Ads, Google Ads).
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Data-driven mindset with a focus on optimizing campaigns for performance and ROI.
Work Environment
