Our mission is to create scientific equipment that pushes the boundaries of magnetic resonance and unlocks new avenues in research, industry, and substance identification. Your Opportunity We are seeking a Software Engineer to join our team starting January 20th, 2025. In this role, you will help design and construct a scientific instrument based on our proprietary magnetic resonance technologies. You will be involved in key areas such as data & signal processing, user interface development, mobile device app development, creating automation routines (e.g., autosampler position reading), analog-to-digital and digital-to-analog converters, and spectral interpretation routines. Accuracy and attention to detail are vital, as well as maintaining comprehensive records of your design decisions in an electronic lab notebook, and clearly communicating your solutions to the team.

Qualifications

Essential:

• Bachelor’s degree in software engineering or a related field.
• At least 1 year of experience working in signal processing.

Assets (non-essential)

• Experience working with an Arduino, a Raspberry Pi, or other microcontrollers / microprocessors.
• Experience working with Python, NumPy, SciPy, C / C++ / C#.
• Experience with high-throughput data processing, parallel computing, CUDA.
• Experience with database creation and management.
• Experience operating 3D printers, using 3D modeling software (e.g. SolidWorks).
• Experience prototyping scientific equipment.
• Experience with CAD software (e.g. EagleCAD).
• Analytical & numerical skills.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills.
• Self-motivated, able to work with shifting priorities.
