The Role:

We are looking for a passionate and dedicated CTO/Co-Founder to join our team. This is an incredible opportunity for an individual with a strong interest in startups, technology, and real estate. The ideal candidate will have a background in computer science, software engineering, or a related field and be prepared to lead our technology strategy, oversee web app development, and help guide the company to its next stage of growth.

As a co-founder, you will be instrumental in defining the architecture of our platform, managing the development team, and aligning our technical vision with the company's business objectives.

We’re offering an initial salary of $30,000 to $40,000 for the first year, with a large equity stake in the company as additional compensation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Technical Leadership: Oversee all aspects of Lutendi’s technology stack and make key architecture decisions.
• Web App Development: Lead the design, development, and deployment of scalable web applications.
• Team Building: Hire and manage a high-performing technical team as we grow.
• Strategic Planning: Develop and implement a technology roadmap for the short- and long-term (30/60/90 days, 6 months, and 1 year).
• Collaboration: Work closely with the product team to define and implement key product features.
• Real Estate Integration: Apply real estate knowledge to optimize our solutions for property management.
• Investor Relations: Communicate Lutendi’s technical vision and value to stakeholders and potential investors.

Technical Qualifications:

• Strong background in IT architecture design and web app development.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as SvelteKit, SQL, Python, Postgres, Node.js, Tailwind CSS, and JavaScript.
• Familiarity with databases, web APIs, and software design principles.
• Experience with software development tools and frameworks.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and a passion for learning new technologies.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams.

Ideal Candidate:

• Has a background in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Passionate about startups and innovation.
• Experience or interest in the real estate industry or other early-stage startups is a plus.
• Capable of working in person in Ottawa (relocation support may be considered).
• Eager to take on a leadership role in a fast-growing company.
