About the Role We are looking for a proactive and highly organized Coordinator, Commercial Operations to support our business development, marketing, and client engagement efforts. This hybrid role requires a versatile professional who can manage multiple priorities, from identifying new business opportunities to coordinating marketing and sales activities, supporting proposal development, and ensuring smooth execution of our webinar and podcast series. The successful candidate will work closely with internal teams and external stakeholders, playing a key role in the growth and operations of our business.
Responsibilities
● Seek out commercial opportunities such as RFPs and new business opportunities relevant to Design Centered Co.
● Work with management to develop, write, and submit compelling proposals in response to RFPs, ensuring alignment with client needs and industry trends.
● Coordinate marketing and sales activities, including managing social media content, tracking marketing efforts, scheduling sales calls, and supporting prospecting efforts.
● Coordinate activities for our webinar and podcast series, including scheduling and liaising with guests, overseeing production details, and managing content distribution.
● Collaborate with clients to coordinate resource requirements, ensuring high client satisfaction and smooth project execution.
● Support internal teams by organizing project materials, documentation, and scheduling follow-ups to keep initiatives on track.
Qualifications
● Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
● Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar function or role.
● Strong writing and communication skills in English.
● Ability to write and communicate in French is an asset.
● Experience in business development, proposal writing, marketing coordination, or sales support.
● Experience and/or understanding of UX design, digital transformation, and/or working in an agency setting is a significant asset.
● Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, and stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
● Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and social media management tools.
● Experience with CRM and project management tools is an asset.
● Must be available to work from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM Eastern Standard Time (EST)
● Must be prepared to present writing and project planning samples as part of the selection process.
